Job Summary:   Cool Gear is looking for a Production Designer. This candidate will be working on packaging and POP/POS Materials. The ideal candidate is captivated with packaging design and is very organized. Candidates should be self-starters with a demonstrated passion for great design. The Cool Gear team is comprised of individuals who thrive on finding solutions to problems, possess the desire to dive in and learn in a fast-paced environment, and like working in a collaborative setting.   Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Work closely within Creative team to design, develop and produce packaging concepts that are both innovative & brand guided. - Develop physical package prototypes. - Concept, design and manage the production of printed materials for the brand and licensors. - Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously. - Generate and deliver branded ideas of customer needs and current trends. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications - BFA degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience in Graphic Design - Minimum 2 years’ experience with Adobe CS–InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat. - Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Knowledge of print production, packaging materials and processes. - Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and/or print work. - An amazing eye for the smallest of details - Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and prioritize. - Maintains meticulous attention to detail, completing multiple and/or repetitive tasks. - Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines, in an intense and extremely fast-paced work environment - Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, consistently delivering exemplary work while juggling multiple priorities and calmly working through continuous distractions. - Exceptional work ethic. Job Summary Statement:    The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for assisting the Sr. Director of Product Development in implementing product objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the entire Cool Gear and Igloo hydration portfolio. The PM also manages and tracks the development process from product brief turnover to product commercialization, communicating project status and keeping projects on-track and on-time.   Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Determine and evaluate consumer need gaps relative to the new potential business areas. - Conduct consumer, product, and customer research as necessary. - Develop category and competitive matrices to optimize the business performance and growth potential of the new product lines. - Write product briefs and communicate them to cross-functional team members - Assist in creating 3-year NPD product roadmaps - Assist in all aspects of project management for all assigned projects. - Help implement standard process for conception, planning, launching, and tracking projects. - Track project timelines with a clearly defined critical path, in conjunction with the process owners. - Follow-up with process owners as to communicate the status of the projects vs. established timelines. - Act as the contact between the factory and product development team for organizing information going to and from regarding development timelines, design/engineering challenges, and general status updates throughout the development process. - Distribute and follow up on testing results for all new samples for items currently in development cycle. - Organize, track, and catalog new item approval process including all final sample collection for the factory and in house needs. - Execute and track initial sales sample orders for newly developed items. - Event Management with regards to samples, logistics. - Other duties as assigned.   Performance Deliverables - Assist in developing and communicating new product scoping & development planning with process owners. - Develop and keep up to date a total project list with Sr. Director of Product Development - Assist in ensuring clear and concise communication with process owners.   Cross Functional Teamwork - This position will need to work across various segments of the business and with all process owners in the development, implementation, and follow-up of assigned projects. - Collaborate with the packaging team to manage & drive packaging or display needs for product launches. - Work with Operations and Quality departments in modifying policies regarding the development of new items, flow of information, and post approval item responsibilities regarding modification and discontinuation. - Work with QC to ensure new items meet all specified standards during development as well as communicating information on items currently in design and working with them to find a solution for any modifications needed from arising customer issues.   Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or related field. - Experience: Three to Five (3-5) years extensive hands-on experience with proven track record as a Project Manager; Experience working with sourced vendors (e.g., Far East located suppliers); Experience working / managing in a cross-functional and team-driven environment. Experience tracking and managing projects and being accountable for on-time delivery. - English language skills: Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Job Summary Statement:   Responsible for processing import orders for retail customers and distributors. Must follow and track shipments using various methods from inception through delivery. Responsible for high profile accounts. Problem solve, define and implement processes to ensure a smooth flow of import programs.   Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:   - Manage the tracking and processing of import orders for retail customers and distributors - Responsible for order-to-cash process flow- ensure customer terms are accurate on orders received- pass along any needed documents to accounting for LC’s and presentations for customer payments. - New Customer Account Setup internally and externally ensuring all necessary documents are received on both sides. - Start to finish responsibility for customer program orders ensuring all customer requirements are met. Job Summary Statement:   Responsible for the overall creation and management of trend illustration and custom retail item styling in addition to Cool Gear standard product line.   Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Create surface pattern illustration / Graphic Design in support of product styling. - Participate in the ideation, planning and execution of Trend and special seasonal promotions. - Create art spec files and rendered images to support Industrial Design and sales. - Manage mid-tier retail accounts. Responsibilities include working closely with the operations department and sales team. - Provide support for the creative strategy and art direction of a wide variety of graphic related materials in support of brand activities, including but not limited to Product, product catalog, custom retail programing and trade shows. - Develop materials for sales presentations, line reviews, sales meetings, product catalogs, collateral materials, trade shows, marketing events, and a host of items to print. - Manipulate photographs, stock photography and CAD images to support sales presentations and other related media. - Interact with Senior Graphic Designers, Industrial Design, Product Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, on various graphic related matters. - Other duties as assigned.
